Palette have been exhibiting its increasing range of physical controllers for photo editing at Photokina this week. The product lineup consists of fully customisable dials and sliders which magnetically snap together to form a mix table which is said to transform routine editing tasks into a DJ session.

Palette works with with Adobe PhotoShop, Lightroom and other apps such as AfterShot Pro and Capture One Pro. The physical controls allow users to switch between functions while the dials can be used to adjust specific settings with ease.

Unlike Brushknob, the entire kit can be made to work with specific buttons within photo editing software. While various profiles can be used to support different workflows, the beauty of Palette lies in the modular nature of the kit.

The Palette starter kit (1 core, 1 dial, 2 buttons, 1 slider) is available for US$199, the expert kit (1 core, 3 dials, 2 buttons, 2 sliders) for US$299, and the professional kit (1 core, 6 dials, 4 buttons, 4 sliders) for US$499 on Palette’s website here.
