Phase One have announced a new update to its photo editing software with the Capture One Pro 9. 3. The new changes will allow users to create monitor profiles for EIZO ColorEdge CG Series monitors to ensure the best colour management possible.
This feature will be invaluable for professional photographers looking for an ‘out of the box’ experience when working with the intricacies of colour management in their workflow.
Version 9. 3 will make it easier for photographers to explore RAW files with plug and play tethering ease, precision image editing resources, and robust enhancements to support creative vision. The update comes with additional profile support for 11 new cameras (including Canon 5D Mark IV) and more than 15 new lens profiles for Sony, Canon, Olympus and Nikon.
At the end of the day, Phase One want to ensure that the colour seen on the screen via its software represents the quality of the camera and lens used to take the photo as closely as possible. It’s panache for detail is also likely to be the Phase One Alpha 100MP camera exists!
