Lastolite by Manfrotto has introduced the Joe McNally Ezybox Speed-Lite 2 Plus, the successor to the company's 2015 Ezybox Speed-Lite Plus model. This new iteration of the mini softbox is part of Lastolite's Joe McNally Signature Range product line, which itself is named after photographer Joe McNally.

This mini softbox measures 8. 5 x 8. 5 in / 22 x 22mm and is designed to attach to a flashgun directly when in use.

The Ezybox Speed-Lite 2 Plus is based upon the non-Plus model, according to Manfrotto, which says the big difference between the two is Plus's 'softer/creamier' light produced by its white interior. This model also features a twist-lock silicon strap for fast flashgun attachment, a pair of magnets as part of an internal folding mechanism for quick use with Lastolite Strobo honeycomb and gel holders, as well as an inner/outer diffuser that is removable.

Using the two inner/outer diffusers together, according to Manfrotto, produces up to 2 stop light loss. Also unique to the new Plus model is a change to the outer filter, which is recessed 45mm to 'control the spill of light leaving the softbox,' says Manfrotto. The company is offering the Joe McNally Ezybox Speed-Lite 2 Plus on the Manfrotto website for The original Joe McNally Ezybox Speed-Lite Plus model is also still available, that one priced at
