Kai noticed that none of his Chinese E-mount lenses worked on the Sony A7V. Sony’s official response to Kai was: We do not guarantee third party compatibility It’s possible the A7V was running non-final firmware, or simply that the Chinese manufacturers will need to update their lens firmware for full compatibility.
