Rode has announced the Lavalier GO, a ‘professional-grade’ lavalier mic designed specifically for use with its Wireless GO system. The Lavalier GO microphone is a 4. 5mm omnidirectional microphone that features a gold-plated 3.
5mm TRS jack that will work with Rode’s own equipment, as well as most other recording devices with 3. 5mm TRS jacks. Its signal to noise ratio is 67 dB with a sensitivity of -35 dB (17. 8mV @94dB SPL) and a dynamic range of 83 dB.
The cable is Kevlar reinforced and the Lavalier GO comes with the microphone, a clip to attach it to clothing, a pop shield and a pouch to carry it all in. The Rode Lavalier GO is available for $79 at authorized Rode retailers (Adorama and B&H). The Rode Wireless GO system is sold separately for $199 at authorized retailers (Adorama, B&H) as well.
