Firmware version 5. 0 officially arrives in March and adds some powerful autofocus improvements to the camera's already impressive AF toolkit. Quite simply, it makes the a9 an industry leader in AF tracking ability, and there are purported updates to color and tonality as well. There's much more analysis to come, but for now here's a selection of the images captured with a beta version of the new firmware, and exclusively using the new Real-Time Tracking autofocus mode.
