To help keep the lens small, distortion is corrected digitally which, given the significant magnitude of correction, can have an impact on edge and corner sharpness. Please note that we have used Capture One Pro 21 for these Raw conversions, since unlike Adobe Camera Raw, it corrects distortion using the embedded manufacturer-provided profile. Capture One also allows (lateral) chromatic aberration corrections to be turned off, which we have done for this gallery to make it easy for you to assess.
