One new source contacted me some time ago and we had a longer chat. He claims to be very close to Sony engineers and he did yet not want to share me exact details about the Sony product. On April 7 at 2pm Las Vegas time Sony will have a new press conference with product announcements. From what I heard the A7sIII is not going to be on market any time soon. At best by late 2019. If you were to take the Sony 24-105mm f4 G OSS and compare it to the company's G Master lenses, then I'd feel like you're doing it an injustice in some ways. Nevertheless, this is a lens that will be compared to them simply because of the fact that every other manufacturer has an offering that rates it amongst their best lenses. thephoblographer.com »
