Egami spotted a Tamron lens design patent. Teh design and the specs are exactly the ones of the Zeiss Batis 18mm f/2. 8 lens. So it looks like Tamron designed that Zeiss lens too (yes also may other Zeiss lenses have a Tamron design). sonyalpharumors.com »

A trusted Zeiss source told me Zeiss will have a new FE lens announcement at the PDN show in late October. Probably one new Batis lens. I am not sure yet about the focal length of the lens but previous unconfirmed rumors said this could be a tele lens (135mm???). sonyalpharumors.com »

I have been telling you for months about five lenses coming til early summer: 24-50mm f/2. 8 G (Amazon, BHphoto, Adorama, FotoErhardt, Calumet, Fotokoch, WexUK) 16-25mm f/2. 8 G (Amazon, BHphoto, Adorama, FotoErhardt, Calumet,FotoKoch, WexUK) 24-70mm f/2.
Now I am 100% certain we are getting the Sony 16-25mm f/2.8 G today. Should be official at 3pm London time! Soon after the announcement I will work on the details of the next Sony ZV-E10II announcement in May ;)
