GAS: lots of photographers have it and many can understand the need and benefit of getting a brand new lens that can render all the bokeh. But after a while, you're pretty well saturated and set in the gear that you've got.

Eventually, you start to realize that you're the one that takes the pictures and not necessarily your camera. And so you'll end up at a point where you want something, but don't need it. That's fine--satiate your wants as much as is reasonable. But when you need things, you'll start to realize how much of your money can be invested into something that's bound to make you even more money and that's overall more about doing something for yourself as you grow as a photographer.
