The upcoming Viltrox 0. 71x Speed Booster for Canon EOS M promises to turn it into a full-frame mirrorless camera (kind-of).
Due for release in the next couple of months, the Viltrox 0. 71x Speed Booster will apply a 0. 71x crop to lenses mounted on the EOS M and also increase the exposure by +1 stop, turning a 50mm f/2. 8 lens into a 35mm f/2 lens.
This should help to overcome the Canon EOS M50's severe crop when shooting 4K video, for example, as well as increase the effective resolution, that's if the autofocus and image quality aren't too adversely affected by mounting the Viltrox 0. 71x Speed Booster adapter.
