Canon was again asked during CP+ about third-party support for the RF mount. They must be tired of answering these sorts of questions, but hey, if people are asking the question, there must be demand.
Laowa is busy this CP+, having just announced the great looking new macro tilt shift lenses, they are also teasing 5 other new lenses as well. The details are limited on these, but as we get more information, we’ll update this further.
At CP+ in Yokohama, Japan, Laowa announced two more tilt-shift full-frame lenses. These lenses have no electronic connections and are available for the Sony E, Nikon Z, Canon RF, L, and GFX mounts.
Tamron officially announced its first Canon RF zoom, the Tamron 11-20mm F/2. 8 Di III-A RXD (Model B060). That's a mouthful. It's for APS-C cameras, but you can still use it on a full-frame camera as it will just switch to crop mode on a full-frame RF camera.
These look like really cool completely manual and non-electrically connected lenses for the RF mount. Availability is expected around mid-June and are available for preorder via B&H Photo video.
Sirui has released the Night Walker 16mm T1. 2 S35 as well as the 74mm T1. 2 S35 cine lens. it was announced some time back in April and now is officially released for the Canon RF mount and others.
