On April 26, 2024 Canon registered another unreleased camera with the code name DS126904. While the EOS R5 Mark II and EOS R1 are going to make their way into the public domain soon, what is that 3rd EOS R camera? We don't know.
Canon has registered another camera to the CMIIT (Chinese Ministry of Industry and Identification). The model is identified as DS126904. It's being reported that it's WiFi 5 and Bluetooth which would tend to make this a lower end model.

Today, Canon released their financials for the first quarter of 2024. Overall the company's sales increased for the year, but operating profit was down. Personally I think the first 3 months of the calendar year are always tough to predict because a lot of it depends on what was left over from Christmas.

SIGMA has announces which lenses will be coming to the RF mount in 2024 and the first one will hit the market in July of this year. The cavaet? Just like the initial launch of Z mount lenses for Nikon, they first round of lenses for the RF mount from SIGMA will be for APS-C.
